He married Lucie Martin in Saint-ephrem D'upton [bagot], Que, 1879. Lucie became the mother of Francois Durand in Upton [bagot], Que, 1887.

At 34 years of age Joseph became the father of Francois Durand in Upton [bagot], Que, 1887.

Joseph Durand and Lucie Martin had the following children:

+ 1334 i. Adrien⁹ Durand.

1335 ii. Albina Durand. She married Joseph Goyet in Saint-ephrem D'upton [bagot], Que, 1907.

1336 iii. Joseph Durand. He married Albina Guertin in St. Helene (st. Hyacinthe), Que, 1926.

1337 iv. Marie-Louise Durand.

1338 v. Francois Durand was born in Upton [bagot], Que 1887. He married Marie-Louise Plouffe in Saint-ephrem D'upton [bagot], Que, 1911.
