969. George⁸ Durand (Joseph⁷, Gilbert⁶, Joseph⁵, Pierre⁴, Louis³, Louis², Jean¹ Durand dit Lafortune) was born in Valparaiso, In 1872. George died 1943 in Valparaiso, In, at 71 years of age.

He married Della Magee in Valparaiso, In, 1891. Della became the mother of Louise Durand in Verennes (vercheres), Que., 1894. Della became the mother of Lillian Durand in Varennes, Que, 1897. Della became the mother of Gordon Durand in Varennes, Que, 1908.

At 22 years of age George became the father of Louise Durand in Verennes (vercheres), Que., 1894. At 25 years of age George became the father of Lillian Durand in Varennes, Que, 1897. At 36 years of age George became the father of Gordon Durand in Varennes, Que, 1908.

George Durand and Della Magee had the following children:

1990 i. Louise⁹ Durand was born in Verennes (vercheres), Que. 1894.

1991 ii. Lillian Durand was born in Varennes, Que 1897. Lillian died 1918 in Varennes, Que, at 21 years of age.

1992 iii. Gordon Durand was born in Varennes, Que 1908. Gordon died 1933 in Varennes, Que, at 25 years of age.
