He married Mary Eleanore Lambert in Faribault, Mn, 1929. Mary became the mother of Gwendolyn Paquette 1930. Mary became the mother of Jamie Dale Paquette 1937. Mary became the mother of John Xavier Paquette 1946.

At 24 years of age Leander became the father of Gwendolyn Paquette 1930. At 31 years of age Leander became the father of Jamie Dale Paquette 1937. At 40 years of age Leander became the father of John Xavier Paquette 1946.
