He married Dorthy Hokanson in Long Prairie, Mn, 20 Oct 1934. Dorthy died 1989 in Missoula, Mt. Dorthy became the mother of Betty Jean Piquette 1 Jun 1935. Dorthy became the mother of Charles Lee Piquette 2 Jul 1937.

At 23 years of age Lee became the father of Betty Jean Piquette 1 Jun 1935. At 25 years of age Lee became the father of Charles Lee Piquette 2 Jul 1937.
