770. Ambroise⁸ Durand (Ambroise⁷, Ambroise⁶, Nicolas⁵, Jean Baptiste⁴, Louis³ DURAND, Louis², Jean¹ Durand dit Lafortune) was born in Saint-Cuthbert (Berthier), Quİbbec 1851.

He married twice. He married Rose-De-lima Perron in Saint-Ephrem D'Upton [Bagot], Que, 1872. Rose-De-lima became the mother of Desire Durand in Upton [bagot], Que, 1880. He married Marie Paradis in Saint-Liboire [Saint-Hyacinthe, Que, 1916.

At 29 years of age Ambroise became the father of Desire Durand in Upton [bagot], Que, 1880.

Ambroise Durand and Rose-De-lima Perron had the following children:

1336 i. Edouard⁹ Durand. He married Ludivine Rondeau in Saint-Ephrem D'Upton [Bagot], Que, 1912.

1337 ii. Eva Durand. She married Emile Couture in Upton [bagot], Que, 1912.

1338 iii. Helene Durand. She married Edmond Brunelle in Upton [bagot], Que, 1896.

1339 iv. Desire Durand was born in Upton [bagot], Que 1880. He married Amanda Gravel in Notre Dame De Graces, Montreal, Que, 1916.
