577. Desire⁷ Durand (Jean-Baptiste⁶, Louis⁵, Pierre⁴ DURAND, Louis³, Louis², Jean¹ Durand dit Lafortune) was born in Saint-Cuthbert (Berthier), Quİbbec 1846. Desire died 1922 in Woonsocket, RI, at 76 years of age.

He married three times. He married Cordelie (Lea) Beauchene in Saint-Cuthbert (Berthier), Quİbbec, 1872. Cordelie became the mother of Arthur Durand in Saint-Cuthbert (Berthier), Quİbbec, 1871. Cordelie became the mother of Virginie Durand in Saint-Cuthbert (Berthier), Quİbbec, 1872. Cordelie became the mother of Theotime Durand 1874. Cordelie became the mother of Joseph-Hercule Durand in Saint-Norbert [Berthier], Que, 1876. He married Melina Richard in Saint-Damien [Berthier], Que, 1904. He married Agnes Perrier in St-Gabriel-de-Brandon (Berthie, Que, 1907.

At 25 years of age Desire became the father of Arthur Durand in Saint-Cuthbert (Berthier), Quİbbec, 1871. At 26 years of age Desire became the father of Virginie Durand in Saint-Cuthbert (Berthier), Quİbbec, 1872. At 28 years of age Desire became the father of Theotime Durand 1874. At 30 years of age Desire became the father of Joseph-Hercule Durand in Saint-Norbert [Berthier], Que, 1876.

Desire Durand and Cordelie (Lea) Beauchene had the following children:

1076 i. Arthur⁸ Durand was born in Saint-Cuthbert (Berthier), Quİbbec 1871. Arthur died 1872 in Saint-Cuthbert (Berthier), Quİbbec, at 1 year of age.

1077 ii. Virginie Durand was born in Saint-Cuthbert (Berthier), Quİbbec 1872.

1078 iii. Theotime Durand was born 1874. Theotime died 1915 in Saint-Edmond [Berthier], Que, at 41 years of age.

1079 iv. Joseph-Hercule Durand was born in Saint-Norbert [Berthier], Que 1876.
