He married Rosalie Alain dit Dudemaine in Saint-Cuthbert (Berthier), Qu©bbec. Rosalie became the mother of Marie-Amelina Durand in Saint-Cuthbert (Berthier), Qu©bbec, 1853. Rosalie became the mother of Severin Durand in Saint-Barthelemy [Berthier], Que, 1854.

At 25 years of age Maxime became the father of Marie-Amelina Durand in Saint-Cuthbert (Berthier), Qu©bbec, 1853. At 26 years of age Maxime became the father of Severin Durand in Saint-Barthelemy [Berthier], Que, 1854.

Maxime Durand and Rosalie Alain dit Dudemaine had the following children:

1021 i. Marie-Amelina⁸ Durand was born in Saint-Cuthbert (Berthier), Qu©bbec 1853. Marie-Amelina died 1853 in Saint-Cuthbert (Berthier), Qu©bbec, at less than one year of age.

1022 ii. Severin Durand was born in Saint-Barthelemy [Berthier], Que 1854.
