He married Blanche Lebel in St. Cunegonde, Montral, 1914. Blanche became the mother of Jeanette Durand in St. Cunegonde, Montral, 1914. Blanche became the mother of Josaphat Durand in St. Cunegonde, Montral, 1915. Blanche became the mother of Roger Durand in St. Cunegonde, Montral, 1918. Blanche became the mother of Roland Durand in St. Cunegonde, Montral, 1920.

At 23 years of age Josaphat became the father of Jeanette Durand in St. Cunegonde, Montral, 1914. At 24 years of age Josaphat became the father of Josaphat Durand in St. Cunegonde, Montral, 1915. At 27 years of age Josaphat became the father of Roger Durand in St. Cunegonde, Montral, 1918. At 29 years of age Josaphat became the father of Roland Durand in St. Cunegonde, Montral, 1920.

Josaphat Durand and Blanche Lebel had the following children:
