At 28 years of age Shirley became the mother of Barbara Pilfrey 1950. At 33 years of age Shirley became the mother of Jean Anne Pilfrey 1955. At 36 years of age Shirley became the mother of Christopher William Pilfrey 1958. At 38 years of age Shirley became the mother of Judith Lynn Pilfrey 1960.

Shirley Mae Pigeon and Charles Pilfrey had the following children:
