He married twice. He married Marie Elizabeth* MICHEL TAILLON in Qu©bbec (Notre-Dame-de-Qu©bbec, 9 Sep 1698. Marie was born 16 Jun 1682. Marie was the daughter of Olivier* MICHEL TAILLON and Marie Madeleine* CAUCHON. Marie died 12 May 1718 at 35 years of age. At 26 years of age Marie became the mother of Elisabeth Durand in Unknown Place, 1708. At 27 years of age Marie became the mother of Genevieve Durand in St. Nicholas De Tilly, Que, 25 Dec 1709. At 29 years of age Marie became the mother of Charlotte Durand in St. Nicholas De Tilly, Que, 1711. At 31 years of age Marie became the mother of Marie-Louise Durand in St. Nicholas De Tilly, Que, 1713. At 33 years of age Marie became the mother of Magdeleine Durand in St. Nicholas De Tilly, Que, 1715. At 35 years of age Marie became the mother of Pierre Durand in Saint-Antoine De Tilly, Que, 1717. He married Marie Jeanne* HOUDE HOULE in St-Nicholas (L©bvis), Qu©bbec, 20 Jan 1719. Marie was born in Ste-Famille, I.O., Quebec 24 Aug 1685. Marie was the daughter of Jean* HOUDE HOULE and Anne* ROULEAU. Marie died 6 May 1749 in Lavaltrie [berthier], Que, at 63 years of age. At 19 years of age Marie became the mother of Marie Anne* DEMERS DUMAIS 1705. At 34 years of age Marie became the mother of Marie-Ursule Durand in Saint-Antoine De Tilly, Que, 1720. At 36 years of age Marie became the mother of Marie-Jeanne Durand in Saint-Antoine De Tilly, Que, 1722. At 38 years of age Marie became the mother of Marie-Charlotte Durand in Lavaltrie [berthier], Que, 1724. At 40 years of age Marie became the mother of Joseph Durand in Lavaltrie [berthier], Que, 1726.

At 55 years of age Louis(2)* became the father of Joseph Durand in Lavaltrie [berthier], Que, 1726.

Louis(2)* DURAND and Marie Elizabeth* MICHEL TAILLON had the following children:

3 ii. Antoine Durand was born in St-Jean, I.O., Que 1702. Antoine died 1719 at 17 years of age.

5 iv. Angelique Durand was born in St. Nicholas De Tilly, Que 1706. She married Jean Boudon Dit Lariviere in Lavaltrie [berthier], Que, 1725.

+ 6 v. Elisabeth Durand was born 1708.

7 vi. Genevieve Durand was born in St. Nicholas De Tilly, Que 25 Dec 1709. Genevieve died 21 Jan 1709/10 in St. Nicholas De Tilly, Que, at less than one year of age.

+ 8 vii. Charlotte Durand was born 1711.

9 viii. Marie-Louise Durand was born in St. Nicholas De Tilly, Que 1713. Marie-Louise died 1719 at 6 years of age.

+ 10 ix. Magdeleine Durand was born 1715.

+ 11 x. Pierre Durand was born 1717.

Louis(2)* DURAND and Marie Jeanne* HOUDE HOULE had the following children:

12 xi. Marie-Ursule Durand was born in Saint-Antoine De Tilly, Que 1720. Marie-Ursule died 1797 in Berthier [berthierville] Que, at 77 years of age. She married Jacques Martin Dit Pelland in Lanoraie [Berthier], Que, 1747. Jacques is the son of Yves Martin dit Pelland and Marie Piet dit Trempe.

+ 13 xii. Marie-Jeanne Durand was born 1722.

14 xiii. Marie-Charlotte Durand was born in Lavaltrie [berthier], Que 1724. Marie-Charlotte died 1724 in Contrecoeur, Que, at less than one year of age.

+ 15 xiv. Joseph Durand was born 1726.
