Welcome to the first edition of the Durand Family Heritage & Foundation Newsletter The idea for a newsletter has been germinating in my mind for about the past two years. I first became interested in developing a newsletter after realizing that many Durand Families live throughout the United States, Canda, and around the world who want to learn more about their heritage, and, to contribute to preserving it also.

Plus, she lived among most of the Pierre Durand families for twenty-nine years. She was a spunky, energetic, severely handicapped woman who was loved, admired and respected ty two generations of Durands and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
