He married twice. He married Odile Lareau in Lowell, MA. Odile became the mother of Alfred Durand 1887. Odile became the mother of Alexandre Durand in Saint-Jean-de-Matha [Joliette], Que, 1891. Odile became the mother of Joseph-Arthur Durand in Saint-Jean-de-Matha [Joliette], Que, 1895. Odile became the mother of Adelard Durand in Saint-Jean-de-Matha [Joliette], Que, 1896. He married Maria Lippe 1908.

At 29 years of age Moise became the father of Alfred Durand 1887. At 33 years of age Moise became the father of Alexandre Durand in Saint-Jean-de-Matha [Joliette], Que, 1891. At 37 years of age Moise became the father of Joseph-Arthur Durand in Saint-Jean-de-Matha [Joliette], Que, 1895. At 38 years of age Moise became the father of Adelard Durand in Saint-Jean-de-Matha [Joliette], Que, 1896.

Moise Durand and Odile Lareau had the following children:

+ 1291 i. Alfred⁷ Durand was born 1887.

1292 ii. Alexandre Durand was born in Saint-Jean-de-Matha [Joliette], Que 1891. Alexandre died 1892 in Saint-Jean-de-Matha [Joliette], Que, at 1 year of age.

1293 iii. Joseph-Arthur Durand was born in Saint-Jean-de-Matha [Joliette], Que 1895. Joseph-Arthur died 1895 in Saint-Jean-de-Matha [Joliette], Que, at less than one year of age.

+ 1294 iv. Adelard Durand was born 1896.
