He married Azilda Dugas in Saint-Jacques De L'Achigan, Que, 1903. Azilda became the mother of Louis-Joseph-aime Durand in St. Esprit, Que, 1904. Azilda became the mother of Jean Durand in St. Esprit, Que, 1905.

At 47 years of age Romuald became the father of Louis-Joseph-aime Durand in St. Esprit, Que, 1904. At 48 years of age Romuald became the father of Jean Durand in St. Esprit, Que, 1905.

Romuald Durand and Azilda Dugas had the following children:

1194 i. Louis-Joseph-aime⁷ Durand was born in St. Esprit, Que 1904. Louis-Joseph-aime died 1904 in St. Esprit, Que, at less than one year of age.
