He married twice. He married Marie Angelique Joly dit Delbec in au Quebec, 19 Feb 1776. Marie was born in Berthier-en-Haut, Que 30 Aug 1752. At 24 years of age Marie became the mother of Marie Durand 26 Jan 1777. At 26 years of age Marie became the mother of Marie Angelique Durand 21 Mar 1779. He married She Ni Yak hanbak iska in Mississippi, about 1780. She was born 1760. She died 1840 at 80 years of age. At 20 years of age She became the mother of Pierre Durant 1780. At 22 years of age She became the mother of Charles Durant 1782. At 24 years of age She became the mother of Lewis Durant 1784. At 30 years of age She became the mother of Margaret Pis Sa Hak Durant 1790. At 38 years of age She became the mother of Syllan Durant 1798. At 40 years of age She became the mother of Louis Durant 1800. At 49 years of age She became the mother of Montubbe Durant 1809. At 52 years of age She became the mother of Vicey Durant 1812.

At 24 years of age Louis became the father of Marie Durand 26 Jan 1777. At 26 years of age Louis became the father of Marie Angelique Durand 21 Mar 1779. At 28 years of age Louis became the father of Pierre Durant 1780. At 30 years of age Louis became the father of Charles Durant 1782. At 32 years of age Louis became the father of Lewis Durant 1784. At 38 years of age Louis became the father of Margaret Pis Sa Hak Durant 1790. At 46 years of age Louis became the father of Syllan Durant 1798. At 48 years of age Louis became the father of Louis Durant 1800. At 57 years of age Louis became the father of Montubbe Durant 1809. At 60 years of age Louis became the father of Vicey Durant 1812.
