He married Clara Lamoureux in Saint-liboire [saint-hyacinthe, Que, 1867. Clara became the mother of Albert Durand in Upton [bagot], Que, 1883. Clara became the mother of Ambroise-Arthur Durand in Upton [bagot], Que, 1884.

At 38 years of age Edouard became the father of Albert Durand in Upton [bagot], Que, 1883. At 39 years of age Edouard became the father of Ambroise-Arthur Durand in Upton [bagot], Que, 1884.

Edouard Durand and Clara Lamoureux had the following children:

782 i. Albert⁸ Durand was born in Upton [bagot], Que 1883. He married Olespha Boudreau in Gilbertsville, Ma, 1913.

783 ii. Ambroise-Arthur Durand was born in Upton [bagot], Que 1884. He married twice. He married Rose Barbarie in Central Falls, Ri, 1908. He married Rose-Alba Vandal in Saint-simon [bagot], Que, 1914.
