He married Lucile Geoffroy in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que, 1842. Lucile became the mother of Remi Durand in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que, 1843. Lucile became the mother of Desiree Durand in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que, 1843. Lucile became the mother of Desire Durand in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que, 1845. Lucile became the mother of Francois Durand in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que, 1850.

At 24 years of age Jean-Baptiste became the father of Desiree Durand in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que, 1843. At 24 years of age Jean-Baptiste became the father of Remi Durand in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que, 1843. At 26 years of age Jean-Baptiste became the father of Desire Durand in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que, 1845. At 31 years of age Jean-Baptiste became the father of Francois Durand in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que, 1850.

Jean-Baptiste Durand and Lucile Geoffroy had the following children:

630 i. Desiree⁷ Durand was born in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que 1843. Desiree died 1843 in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que, at less than one year of age.

631 ii. Remi Durand was born in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que 1843.

632 iii. Desire Durand was born in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que 1845.

633 iv. Francois Durand was born in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que 1850.
