504. Joseph⁶ Durand (Gilbert⁵, Joseph*⁴ DURAND, Pierre*³, Louis(3)*², Louis(2)*¹) was born in St-Gabriel-de-Brandon (Berthie, Que 1846. Joseph died 1893 in Valparaiso, IN, at 47 years of age.

He married Mary Tatro in Valparaiso, IN, 1866. Mary became the mother of Cordelia Durand in Valparaiso, IN, 1868. Mary became the mother of George Durand in Valparaiso, IN, 1872. Mary became the mother of Otto Brant Durand in Valparaiso, IN, 1885. Mary became the mother of Gordon Durand in Valparaiso, IN, 1888.

At 22 years of age Joseph became the father of Cordelia Durand in Valparaiso, IN, 1868. At 26 years of age Joseph became the father of George Durand in Valparaiso, IN, 1872. At 39 years of age Joseph became the father of Otto Brant Durand in Valparaiso, IN, 1885. At 42 years of age Joseph became the father of Gordon Durand in Valparaiso, IN, 1888.

Joseph Durand and Mary Tatro had the following children:

959 i. Cordelia⁷ Durand was born in Valparaiso, IN 1868. Cordelia died 1881 at 13 years of age.

+ 960 ii. George Durand was born 1872.

+ 961 iii. Otto Brant Durand was born 1885.

962 iv. Gordon Durand was born in Valparaiso, IN 1888. Gordon died 1937 in Chicago, IL, at 49 years of age. He married Grace George 1922.
