He married Marie-Lucie Masse in Berthier [berthierville] Que, 1840. Marie-Lucie became the mother of Philomene Durand in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que, 1841. Marie-Lucie became the mother of Marie-Philomene Durand in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que, 1842. Marie-Lucie became the mother of Francois-Xavier Durand in Saint-thomas [joliette], Que, 1844. Marie-Lucie became the mother of Lucile-Marie Durand in Joliette, Que., 1846. Marie-Lucie became the mother of Louis Durand in Saint-thomas [joliette], Que, 1848. Marie-Lucie became the mother of Julie Durand in Saint-felix-de-valois [joliett, Que, 1850. Marie-Lucie became the mother of Joseph Prosper Durand in Saint-felix-de-valois [joliett, Que, 1853.

At 21 years of age Prosper became the father of Philomene Durand in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que, 1841. At 22 years of age Prosper became the father of Marie-Philomene Durand in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que, 1842. At 24 years of age Prosper became the father of Francois-Xavier Durand in Saint-thomas [joliette], Que, 1844. At 26 years of age Prosper became the father of Lucile-Marie Durand in Joliette, Que., 1846. At 28 years of age Prosper became the father of Louis Durand in Saint-thomas [joliette], Que, 1848. At 30 years of age Prosper became the father of Julie Durand in Saint-felix-de-valois [joliett, Que, 1850. At 33 years of age Prosper became the father of Joseph Prosper Durand in Saint-felix-de-valois [joliett, Que, 1853.

Prosper Durand and Marie-Lucie Masse had the following children:

459 i. Philomene⁷ Durand was born in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que 1841. Philomene died 1841 in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que, at less than one year of age.

460 ii. Marie-Philomene Durand was born in Sainte-elisabeth [joliette], Que 1842. Marie-Philomene died in Coaticook [standstead], Que.

+ 462 iv. Lucile-Marie Durand was born 1846.

463 v. Louis Durand was born in Saint-thomas [joliette], Que 1848.

464 vi. Julie Durand was born in Saint-felix-de-valois [joliett, Que 1850. Julie died 1912 in Coaticook [standstead], Que, at 62 years of age.
