2644. Joseph (Joe) James¹⁰ Durand (Norbert⁹, Joseph-Octave⁸, Norbert⁷, Joseph Ambroise⁶, Joseph⁵, Pierre⁴, Louis³, Louis², Jean¹ Durand dit Lafortune) was born in Polk County, Wi 15 Feb 1891. Joseph died 19 May 1960 at 69 years of age.

He married Laura Pearson in Apple River Township, Wi, 24 Nov 1914. Laura was born 22 Mar 1895. Laura was the daughter of Fred Pearson and Rose Carpenter. At 24 years of age Laura became the mother of Louis Joseph Durand 13 Apr 1919. At 26 years of age Laura became the mother of Raymond Alfred Durand in Polk County, Wi, 26 May 1921. At 31 years of age Laura became the mother of Virginia Rose Ann Durand 29 Jul 1926. At 33 years of age Laura became the mother of Joyce Durand 6 Jun 1928.

At 28 years of age Joseph became the father of Louis Joseph Durand 13 Apr 1919. At 30 years of age Joseph became the father of Raymond Alfred Durand in Polk County, Wi, 26 May 1921. At 35 years of age Joseph became the father of Virginia Rose Ann Durand 29 Jul 1926. At 37 years of age Joseph became the father of Joyce Durand 6 Jun 1928.

Joseph (Joe) James Durand and Laura Pearson had the following children:

4545 i. Louis Joseph¹¹ Durand was born 13 Apr 1919. Louis died May 1977 at 58 years of age.

4546 ii. Raymond Alfred Durand was born in Polk County, Wi 26 May 1921.
