He married Lily Belle Dean about 1914. Lily was born in Peeled Chestnut, TN. Lily became the mother of Margaret Maybelle Durand in Phoenix, AZ, 16 Aug 1915. Lily became the mother of Edward Durand in Phoenix, AZ, 17 Dec 1920.

At 36 years of age Edward became the father of Margaret Maybelle Durand in Phoenix, AZ, 16 Aug 1915. At 41 years of age Edward became the father of Edward Durand in Phoenix, AZ, 17 Dec 1920.

Edward Durand and Lily Belle Dean had the following children:

1988 i. Margaret Maybelle⁸ Durand was born in Phoenix, AZ 16 Aug 1915. She married Richard Bridges in Los Angeles, CA, 23 Nov 1931.
